The film plays by dream logic, so the trailer had to as well. I used speed ramps and sudden bursts of energy to break up the hazy, atmospheric scenes, so the viewer never quite settles. The goal was to sell the feeling of the film without giving away the plot, and to give the team one asset that works for festivals, social teasers, and press. This trailer won an award for best editing for a film trailer.
